POLITICAL SCIENCE FOR EEJITS

politics.jpg

A class we all belong to, sadly. As Dr. Research takes every opportunity to remind me, I myself, in a former lifetime, once drove a behemoth that averaged 11 MPG. That's the thing about former lives, they're chock full of folly and stupidity and wantonness and lasciviousness and is peppered with hindsight and other hind-things. It was an entirely different conglomeration of cells that used to chase homeless people down alleys at the expense of the ozone layer or whatnot, so I'm not to blame. If we could somehow harness the energy we expend trying to prove we're not to blame, we could fix the world. Or at least enough of it that we could tell ourselves it's not our fault that life still sucks.

Not a damned thing we can do about our pasts but forgive ourselves and move on.

Liberals do not drive Chevy SUVs. Liberals drive latte-drinking, sushi-eating Volvos.

Yeah? Who's buying all those Cayennes and Lexus LX's, then? Oh, you probably mean *practicing* liberals. As rare a species as practicing Christians.

Oh, and that's a Toyota SUV that I tagged with Liberal. Liberals wouldn't be caught dead in a GM product. On the other hand, few of us have a choice where we're caught dead, do we?

Oh! A Toyota! I guess it's okay then.(At least they're not made by bitter midwestern smokers.)
