HATCHING

There’s something you all don’t know about me. I’m fascinated by the word “plinth”. It borders on obsession. I don’t care what it means, meaning means nothing to me. What it feels like to say it, the flexinations your mouth muscles have to go through in order to vocalize it, that’s the meat of the matter. Beginning with a soft layered fricative explosion, ending with a sensuous interaction of tongue and teeth, what’s not to like? Plinth plinth plinth. Okay, the truth is, I have work to do, and any distraction takes on magical properties. You know how it is.

Hmm, Wally, looks like you might have a little artery furring going on there in the 4th place in your heart.
Plinth is lovely, you're right. If only it was a word we used more often. If only say, taxes, were called plinths. I'd be far happier paying plinths.
I'm going to show these to my doctor, see if he concurs. I might need a balloon animal angioplasty.
Perhaps its a neighborhood. Plinth Place.
A friend of mine came up with names for a stereotypical English couple: Nigel Pastywhite and Euphegenia Dimwiddie. Hermione Plinth is a good English-sounding name. She could be Nigel's aunt.
Hermione Plinth. Let me give that one some thought.
Just a spoonful of funny makes the mediplinth go down...in the most delightful way

Jennie Dawdle and Bart felt nothing, and concurred They might run away. And those cats have seen a lot.
Time to break out the meds. Form a single file, people.

Fantastically succint. I've seen people attempt to convey that phenomenon in several paragraphs!
While I'm here... only found this blog a month or so ago...great stuff! Have even been attempting lots of line drawings lately, and failing. You make it look easy.
Thanks, John. In one sense, there's no such thing as a failed drawing. The act is all.
I am over here at the ODU Library using their computer, and your drawing is much clearer. So Place in the Heart No. 1 does actually look like a naked chicken or turkey. The other three are much too clear.
